Cuisine of India

Editor’s note: this restaurant has closed.

Cuisine of India is another good choice for Indian buffet in Nashville. Josh and I ate there on a Friday afternoon, and we enjoyed our meal. The buffet had many standard but delicious choices, including chicken curry, chile chicken, vegetable pakora, and naan. The restaurant, in its new location (still on 21st Avenue S), was clean and crisp with white tablecloths. Service was efficient, making this a good place for a quick weekday lunch.

I used to be a huge Cuisine of India fan until one day they tore up my wife and I with a load of MSG.
I’d highly recommend you try Woodlands on West End right by 440 instead. Much better, and a little more interesting and regional than Cuisine.

    Deltasleep,
If you read more of our blog you’ll notice that we love Woodlands and highly recommend it. We’re just reviewing this restaurant as an option for the Vandy area.

Cuisine of India is a hit or miss thing. One afternoon, I had some of the best malai koftas. Another time, the tandoori chicken was quite dessicated…overall, I would not recommend this place.
