Marché Artisan Foods
We had some fabulous food at Marché Artisan Foods recently. My friend and I stopped there on a whim and were pleasantly surprised.
I ordered a rhubarb ricotta tart, and although it actually needed a bit of salt, it was still novel and delicious. My latte was served in a handle-less au lait cup and was just perfect.
My friend had the bread basket, which was accompanied by a charming array of tiny pots of butter, honey, Nutella, strawberry preserves, and natural peanut butter.
The decor was nice too – very light and airy. The main dining room is surrounded on three walls by glass and we’d love to come back on a rainy day.
It reminds us a bit of Nashville-favorite Provence, but let’s be honest: Provence doesn’t update their menu very often. Marché was a refreshing change and we look forward to going back to sample their full-meal menu, or just for a treat.
