“Bravo Gelato Fights Cancer” Fundraiser

We’ve raved about the sorbet at Bravo Gelato before – here’s your chance to try out Bravo’s gelato or sorbet and contribute to a great cause to boot! Rodney Waits was diagnosed with Primary Central Nervous System lymphoma last year. His children are raising money through the Country Music Marathon, with all proceeds going to the The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

This Saturday, April 10, Bravo Gelato (Village Green Location, open Saturday 10:30am-6pm) is joining in the cause. Owner Noel Glasgow says, “we will have one flavor in the case that will change every 15 minutes that will be free (4oz serving) with a donation. All other flavors will be regular price, but a portion of all the sales will go to the fundraiser. ” There’s currently lots of discussion on Bravo Gelato’s Twitter feed as to what the free flavors will be, so be sure to check it out and maybe even chime in with a request!
